The Fridays

The Fridays comment on the things that make you smile, the things that make you cry and the things that make you laugh so hard you wet your pants! These girls’ particular brand of acoustic folk rock blends gutsy guitar riffs, sweet harmonies and tunes full of humour. Fronted by Kimberly McKenzie and Kelly Breuer, ‘The Fridays’ have recently played at Adelaide’s Feast, Fuse and Fringe Festivals and will be releasing their debut EP ‘Wo h Oh’ both in Adelaide and Melbourne throughout September and October. The Fridays are fast becoming one of Australia’s hottest emerging acts and will be providing your ears with a more refreshing, rockier taste with sounds similar to ‘The Waifs’ and ‘Melissa Etheridge’. On a final note…The band would like to remind you to bring your dancing shoes to the next gig! Make everyday a Friday! “Even us skeptics'll swear they've been in the presence of the harmony angels - make every day a Friday” Songcatcher, Radio Adelaide. Ziggie is the former Singer / Songwriter of local Adelaide Folk Rock act SLAVe of South Australia. After going out on his own to refine his sound he invested several practises with a group of people now know as The No Friends Band.

Caroline Perks local singer / songwriter agreed to join the journey after Ziggie invited local musicians to come and be a part of a once of gig @ The Black Box Cafe in Elizabeth. After the event Caroline was made a permanent fixture to the No Friends For Rolland Romanny ensemble!

KanO is the former percussionist for Adelaide acts SLAVe & The Red Rockets. Because of KanO & Ziggie's prior history with SLAVe, he was the perfect choice for the NFFRR percussion section. KanO became a full time member of No Friends For Rolland Romanny after their gig at The Black Box Cafe in December 2007.
