Biography: The Ride is a trio of experienced musicians who play a dynamic range of classic songs from a variety of iconic artists. Their repertoire includes music from The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Santana, Pink Floyd, The Stranglers, The Meters, Spencer Davis Group and many more. The band has the ability to adapt its performance to suit the type of venue, be it a small ambient café style show or energetic pub rock venue, and anything in between.

The Ride are also working on original material which is influenced by the above artists. The band members have a keen interest in the recording process and regularly work towards producing their own album. Being a part time project means it may take up to a year to complete. Fingers crossed!

Achievements: Lee (guitar) and Grant (drums) were founding members of the production which became The Australian Pink Floyd Show. The band started here in Elizabeth (then known as Think Floyd) and after several years of shows in and around Adelaide, the band began touring interstate. They finally took a leap of faith and travelled to the UK, set up base and toured relentlessly. Lee returned to SA after several tours. Grant lasted for a few years, but greatly missed Adelaide. It's true, you don't know what you've got till it's gone!

Lead singer Raffa established himself as a proficient frontman and keyboardist throughout the years on the local Adelaide scene. The classic sounds of the Hammond Organ is his true love. And funk rock is King!!!
