Northern Sound System has the ability to utilise the entire venue as a recording space.
This means we are able to use the dedicated studio area, live multitrack record any performance on the The Floor or a combination of both techniques.
The recording facilities are complimented by industry standard Protools HD technology powered by a Macintosh G5 and interfaced on a Control 24 16 channel desk.

this is a great idea to have this as i have alot of bands contact me about where they can record there albums.
if i have any bands i will definitly keep NSS in mind as a venue.

Just wondering if a solo artist could record here without a backing track or band? If it’s preferred I’m sure I can muster up something. I’ve been trying to record on my own, but nothing ever sounds quite right. Needing a lot of help with the little funds I have :( please let me know!
