Getting It Down
The studio is a purpose built, fully equipped recording space perfect for bands seeking a good quality and affordable recording. Make use of our in-house equipment including Marshall, Ampeg, Vox and Fender Amps and Pearl Reference Drum Kit. The Studio also doubles as a rehearsal space and is linked to The Floor via a digital multicore to facilitate multitrack recording of live performances
The Studio’s fully equipped rehearsal space is available for hire. Weekday and weekend session times are from 1:00–6.00pm and 6:00–11:00pm.
Rehearsal spaces are charged at $50.00 (inc. GST) per session.
Students and NSS volunteers can access the rehearsal space for $38.00 (inc. GST) Rehearsal and performance equipment (Drums and amps) are available at a charge of $12.00 (inc. GST) per session.
Students and NSS volunteers can access the equipment for $9.00 (inc. GST)
What you get for your hire fee is:
• An acoustically treated, soundproof room
• Ducted Air-conditioning
• P.A. system
• 3 Shure SM 58 microphones and cables
The studio can be hired from $65 / hour, which includes the room and sound engineer. Alternatively, our demo package offer 5 hours of studio time for $300.
